You probably already know about our ground-breaking design -- Dashcams/Backup cameras with a replacement rearview mirror. These products come with a mounting bracket that keeps the mirrors away from vibrations or jolts on a bumpy road and gives you a clean, neat and tidy OEM look. What’s more, the larger screen compared to ordinary dash cams and backup cameras offers an excellent vision. But do I need to pay to replace the mirror? This article will show you how easy it is.

1. Contact the service
Before you actually purchase the product, you definitely want to check with the service whether or not this product is compatible with your vehicle. With the 3 brackets and the mirror base included in the package, these mirrors can be installed in most mainstream cars, such as Toyota, Ford, VW, Nissan, Mazda, Lexus, Jeep, Hyundai, Honda, Dodge, Chevrolet, etc. However, the accessories, even of the same brand, can change a lot along with models, grades, and years. The best way is to remove the original mirror, take a picture of the mirror mount, and send the picture to our service with basic information like the brand, model, and year of your vehicle. Our team is happy to check with the technicians and offer installation advice.

2. Remove the original mirror
This is surprisingly simple once you know the mechanics. Most of the mirrors can be removed by 2 steps:
 ① remove the nuts/bolts on the mirror mount (if there is any) by the wrench included in the package;
 ② Slide up the mirror.
That’s it! Nothing complicated.

3. Install the new mirror
①Brackets
Some of the mirrors need no additional brackets to install, such as some Mazda cars and some Honda cars, or any mirror that has "Murakami 7225" written on the back. But if your car needs a bracket, it's just as easy. All you need to do is to add that bracket on your original mirror mount, fix it with the nuts and bolts that came with the bracket, and then slide on the mirror dashcam or backup camera. Check out the instruction picture below.

②Mirror Base
If your car couldn't install with adapters, please place our rearview mirror mount to the windshield using UV glue and then slide V5 Pro Mirror bracket in to finish installation.
